Eurotrip Day 14 brought us absolutely perfect weather for sightseeing! Paris has an extensive train system, but we opted to walk everywhere so we could see as much as possible. That meant another 7 miles added to our overall trip! We saw all of the major outdoor Paris attractions throughout the day, took a wine tasting class, and ended the evening with a very interesting dinner. Read on to explore Paris with us…
Amazon is putting a lot of marketing behind the second edition of their big sale day – “Prime Day,” which kicks off at midnight! Amazon Prime members will be able to buy items at deep discounts all day on July 12, 2016. Amazon claims that this day will be bigger and better than Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales. On Eurotrip Day 13 we definitely took it easy. We slept in, then walked through Picadilly Circus to the National Portrait Gallery and The National [Art] Gallery. We made our way to the train station in the afternoon, where we took the Eurostar high-speed train from London to Paris. Paris was a bit of a culture shock compared to Ireland and the United Kingdom… mostly because this was the only country during this trip where English was not the primary language. Upon arriving at our hotel, we immediately downloaded Google Translate!

Southwest released another couple months of flight availability today. The new schedules went live shortly after 6am EST. I know this, because Brooke and I set alarms to wake up and book flights to Mexico and Costa Rica in mid-January. The schedule had previously only been released through January 4th. On Eurotrip Day 12, we enjoyed a full-day tour from London to Bath and Stonehenge aboard The English Bus. Brooke and I were excited to see these historic sites, and I was looking forward to letting somebody else do the driving! The city of Bath features old Roman-style baths and a beautiful abbey, and Stonehenge is an absolute marvel of the ancient world!
